These are things derived from - or associated with - fynbos: Buchu Brandy, Fynbos tea, Watercolours, Windchimes and nKosi Sikeleli cassettes
Try our buchu brandy, protea and wildflower watercolour prints, or teach yourself to sing 'nKosi Sikelel iAfrica' from our CD.
Buchu Brandy is a tincture of buchu (agathosma betulina) that was learned by the early Dutch settlers from the Bushmen. It is very hard to get, since buchu grows only in the Western Cape and is very scarce and dear. We eventually had to make our own from the buchu on our farm, and are proud to make it available to you here.
These beautiful reproductions are printed on textured recycled paper and are very attractive when framed. We like them especially because almost all the plants in the collection occur on our farm, and the pictures are very true to life. You can buy prints singly or in sets.
Teach Yourself to Sing nKosi Sikelel iAfrica
Teach yourself to sing the hauntingly beautiful hymn that became the anthem of the liberation movement in South Africa and is now the National Anthem. The proceeds from sales of this Compact Disc help support the Langa Adult Choir.
